Knitting for your dog is a wonderful way to deepen your bond.
We charity knit for people all the time, so why not dogs? Shelter and rescue dogs would certainly appreciate a bit of hand-knitted warmth in winter as much as any person. Maybe even more. I donate to a few different rescue organizations, so I can tell you from experience it’s appreciated.
Patterns for People
I believe knitting should be fun and generate cool pieces regardless of skill level. You really can make a lot of great accessories knitting with simple stitches on big needles. It’s trendy looking and is even becoming a super trendy hobby.

We’re going to talk a lot about finishing, because that’s what gives your knitting its polished look. Making uniform, even stitches, sewing neat seams and good blocking makes even the most basic knitting look professional. It’s the extra step that will separate your work and have everybody asking “Who are you wearing?”
